Vancouver, B.C.: AKA Ventures Inc. (“AKA” or the “Company”) (TSX-V Symbol: AKA) is pleased to announce that Quantec Geoscience has completed the field work for the Titan-24 electrical geophysical survey on the Company’s Copper Joe property located in Mohave County, Arizona. The survey included approximately 18 kilometers of survey lines. The final report and conclusions from the survey will be released upon receipt in early January 2011.

The opportunity at Copper Joe derives from the recognition that a major porphyry copper-molybdenum system has been cut by a fault, and that the prospective copper-bearing top of this system overlain by potentially mineralized landslide deposits (sturzstroms) now lies beneath shallow cover within the claim block. To secure the ground, 9,000 acres of mineral rights have been acquired via staking of 406 federal lode claims and filing one State of Arizona mineral exploration permit. In the process of claim staking, black manganese-copper oxide deposits were located east of the target area in young gravel deposits, exactly where they would be expected if a copper-molybdenum deposit were oxidizing beneath the target area. Depths to the target are anticipated to be 300 to 500 metres or less throughout the target area.

Timothy M. Marsh, PhD, PE, a qualified person, and operating geologist has reviewed the information in this release.

Ken Brook RPG of Reno Nevada is the Qualified Person responsible for drafting the upcoming 43-101 report on the Copper Joe project.
