Property scale evaluation utilising deep DCIP and MT
The key objective was to accurately map the deep structure. Much of the area had already been drill tested to depths of 500m near the old mines.
The TITAN system was deployed across a large claim holding near the old Cheminis mine. DCIP Imaging was provided to depths of 750 metres and detailed array based MT imaging was provided to depths of 1500 – 2000 metres across the block.
The survey provided a big picture view of what lay below the property. DCIP was confirmed as a useful tool for targetting the top 500m and corroborated well with existing drilling. The MT provided new horizons at depth to test. Two holes were targeted at over 700 and 850 m based on the MT. Results returned hi grade intercepts that matched grade and depth comparisons from the nearby historic Kerr-Addison Mine.
