3D Advanced Imaging across the unconformity boundary at > 400 metres with DC resistivity

Challenges

The key objective was to accurately map the deep structure. Traditional DCIP surveys simply couldnt penetrate to below 150m.

Solutions

The TITAN system was deployed across 4 lines. Lines were roughly 2.5 km in length. The DCIP images to 500m and the MT provided resistivty sections to 1500m.

Highlights

Titan surveys have identified over 15 major chargeability high and resistivity low anomalies, that are consistent with vein-gold mineralized zones, and lie buried from 100-750m depth. Anomalies are oriented along 5 linear trends (A-E) that extend across the property.

Zone A corresponds to the main Gralheira vein system. It is mapped from surface to >500-750m depths as an IP high feature. It shows potential deep extensions along L100W in particular, L700W and possibly 250E. Deeper ore shoots are implied between 400E and 300W along baseline. Additional secondary veins are indicated north of main Gralheira system.
