Mark Morrison has been our President and CEO since 2025, bringing over 15 years of experience within the company. His journey is a clear reflection of Quantec\u2019s commitment to internal growth and career development. Mark began\n his career in the field as a Geophysical Technician after earning his B.Sc. (Hons) in Geophysics from the University of Western Ontario. He progressed through roles as Operator, Field Manager, and eventually transitioned\n into corporate leadership\u2014as Project Manager and later as General Manager of our Chilean operations. For six years prior to his current role, he served as Director of Operations, where he played a key role in aligning field\n and office operations. Mark\u2019s hands-on experience across all levels of the organization gives him a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within our projects. Robert Gordon is the Manager of Sales and Marketing at Quantec Geoscience, leading the company’s business development efforts. Roger Sharpe is our Technical VP, a role he has held since 2011. He joined Quantec in 2006 and has been a key figure in advancing geophysical solutions through leadership and technical expertise. Roger has over four decades\n of experience spanning exploration, mining, environmental geophysics, and instrumentation development. His career has taken him across North and South America, working in diverse roles from geophysical fieldwork and crew\n leadership to senior corporate positions. Before becoming VP Technical, he served as Quantec\u2019s General Manager in Reno and later as a Senior Interpretation Geophysicist in South America. With extensive expertise in subsurface\n imaging, he has contributed to groundbreaking advancements in the exploration of natural resources. Roger specializes in deploying cutting-edge technologies, to deliver high-resolution data for mining and geothermal projects.\n Roger\u2019s passion for geophysics extends beyond his career\u2014he has worked in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Bolivia, and Chile and traveled extensively worldwide. An avid cyclist, he has logged over 75,000 km commuting in Denver,\n Reno, and Toronto, with a preference for recumbent bikes. With a B.Sc. in Psychology, an MBA in Human Resources, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Maya combines academic expertise with practical experience to drive workplace\n excellence. As an experienced HR Professional, Maya specializes in leadership and team development, talent acquisition strategies, and employee engagement. Mehran Gharibi brings over 35 years of combined academic and industry expertise to his role as our Manager of the Interpretation Group. Since joining Quantec in 2009 and stepping into his current leadership position in 2019,\n Mehran has been pivotal in advancing cutting-edge geophysical practices and fostering innovative technology development. He holds a B.Sc. in Nuclear Physics, an M.Sc. in Geophysics focused on Seismic Exploration, and aPh.D.\n in Geophysics with a specialization in Electromagnetics . His diverse educational background underlines his extensive experience across all geophysical exploration methods. Mehran is a member of several professional organizations,\n including PGO, APEGA, NAPEGA, SEG, and EAGE. Nigel Unger, Vice President of South American Operations at Quantec Geoscience, has been with the company since 1999, managing geophysical surveys across South America. Since 2007, he has led Quantec’s Argentina office. Nigel\n earned a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Engineering Geology from the University of Natal, South Africa.
